The Channel Islands

During my study of World War II, I was able to come across a little known fact that most people, unless they live in England, the Channel Islands or are serious students of the war, do not know that the Channel Islands were the only British Crown dependents that were occupied by the Germans during the war.

There are a few people who have heard of the Channel Islands but have no idea as to where in the world they are. On this page, I will do my part to help promote a fascinating set of islands off the coast of France whose individual islands are as unique, and have their own personality, just as no two people are alike.
