Operations of World War II

There were many different "operations" during World War II. In order to disguise these secret missions from prying ears, they were given code names. For example: it was common for ships to be given a direction in which to sail, but none of the crew knew of their mission until a certain time when the captain would open his orders while at sea.

I will list these missions in the dated order in which they happened. On another page, I will list them in alphabetical order so you can cross reference.

Since I am not omnipotent (all knowing), I will need your help in listing these missions. If I have missed any, please e-mail them to me, with the date the mission began and the primary objective of the mission.
